Registration & Cancellation Terms & Conditions:

Registrant initiated cancellation, withdrawal or transfer of registration

  1. Any cancellation, withdrawal or transfer of registration request must be submitted via email to conference@psa.org.au

  2. More than fourteen (14) days prior are permissible and will incur a registration service charge of $110 excluding GST. 

  3. Within seven (7) to fourteen (14) days prior are permissible and will incur a charge equivalent to 50% of the registration fee or $110 ex GST, whichever is higher.

  4. Less than seven (7) days prior are not permissible and will not be refunded.

  5. Registrations are however transferable to another person however a difference in fee type may apply depending on their membership type.

Note: The above terms are not applicable for the Super Early Bird Registration available to PSA Professional Plus members who book before the closing date of 11:59pm on 15 December 2023. This is a non-refundable ticket. 

 

Unpaid Registrations
If we have not received payment in full for your registration fees 14 days prior to the event, your registration may be cancelled.

​PSA initiated cancellation or deferral

  • PSA reserves the right to cancel or defer this event or make changes to the program. 

  • If PSA cancels this event, the registrant will receive 100% refund of the registration fee.

  • PSA bears no responsibility for any costs incurred (such as flights, accommodation, travel or expenses) or loss of income if this event is cancelled or deferred.

Conference Terms & Conditions:

 

PSA conferences and exhibitions are designed for health care professionals only. This is a mandatory and regulatory requirement based on the content of the education and medications on view. Please ensure that any conference delegates that accompany you, or that you are registering on behalf of, are registered HCPs. This is not relevant for guests attending social functions.

Face to Face Events: Health & Safety
The PSA Organising Committee and the Conference Venue, are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy conference environment for all on site attendees, and to providing the information needed to achieve this. The PSA Organising Committee and the Conference Venue, will take responsibility for providing health and safety procedures whilst on site, however, all on site conference attendees need to be aware of their own responsibilities.

Photography/ Video
PSA is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit on site participants, exhibitors, supporters, news organisations and other companies from photographing or video or audio-taping some event activities. Additionally, PSA may arrange for photos to be taken during the conference. PSA reserves the right to use images taken at the conference with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials, including on the internet.  Conference attendees who prefer their images are neither taken nor published in any format, have the ability to object by sending an email request to the events team at conference@psa.org.au

 

Insurance
PSA will not accept any liability for losses associated with the conference. Delegates are advised to arrange their own comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including insurance for personal possessions and financial loss due to cancellation or postponement of the conference.

Responsibility Disclaimer
Participation is acknowledgement that the organisers and associated contractors disclaim liability for any financial or other loss, damage, accident or injury to property or persons, change or schedules, speakers or topics or other irregularities caused or arising from circumstances beyond their control including industrial disputes.

 

The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) has a database of member’s names, addresses and other relevant information to membership of the PSA. This data is accessed by PSA to mail information including publications and member services. It is made available to related organisations with which PSA has formed a relationship to provide member services and benefits. This includes mailing houses that provide these services. Members may request personal information not be passed onto a third party; however this will result in the member being unable to receive Society mailing. A member may request a copy of personal information held by the Society.
